Any work to construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, demolish or convert any commercial building will require a building permit. Be sure to check to see if your project is a type of work that does not require a building permit.

Commercial building projects include the construction of a new building purposed for use by any commercial enterprise, non-profit organization, religious organization or other entity wishing to occupy the building for business-like purposes. Any alterations or in-fills of an existing commercial structure is also included. Any changes to a buildings plumbing or electrical work, as well as the location of a temporary structure on commercial property, must be permitted.
