The role of the Emergency Management Agency in the City of Republic is to help all residents in their time of need. The Emergency Management office is committed to the protection of life and property before, during, and after a disaster has occurred.
With
safety as our main responsibility, we are driven by goals to enhance the
safety, preparedness, and the recovery of our residents after a disaster
has occurred.
To
accomplish this mission, the Emergency Management Agency is dedicated
to preparedness, response, recovery and the mitigation for all unavoidable
disasters.
As
part of our goal of having a prepared community, the Republic emergency
management team now offers free CERT (Community Emergency Response Team)
and other emergency preparedness training courses to individuals, businesses
