A supervisor and six full time telecommunicators presently staff the Communications Center . Personnel work 8 hour shifts.

9-1-1

All 9-1-1 calls for service for the City of Republic and Brookline Village come through our new enhanced 911 system housed in our facility. We are also the 911 backup PSAP for Springfield and Greene Co. should the phone lines be severed or the ECC is out of service etc. We would be able to answer all 911 calls to Greene Co., and Springfield and get the needed personnel to the citizens as well as to our citizens. We provide space for training new personnel in the use of 800 MHZ radio and the 911 equipment.

Records and Statistical Analysis
Support Services provides valuable statistical information of activities that assists in identifying and directing personnel and equipment needs, and serves as the central information point of the police department. The section is responsible for preparation and submission of all monthly and annual reports, such as Uniform Crime Reports (UCR), Racial Profiling, and those required by City Administration or by special request.
