The Republic Senior Friendship Ceneter is one of the 36 senior centers that are partially funded by the Southwest Missouri Office of Aging. The Center is operated by the Senior Friendship Board and leased through the Southwest Missouri Office on Aging. Anyone that is sixty years of age or older may utilize the services that are available through the Center, however, anyone may come and visit or come to volunteer their services. The Republic Senior Friendship Center is a place where the elderly can enjoy the company of others in a pleasant atmosphere, participate in recreational and volunteer activities, and enjoy a hot, nutritious noon meal. The Center provides comprehensive information and referral services that links seniors to all kinds of valuable sources outside the Center.
