The Street Maintenance Division is responsible for snow removal and street maintenance for approximately 80 miles of city streets. The department also maintains and repairs sidewalks, storm drains, and approximately 1,080 street signs. Responsibilities also include maintenance and mowing of city rights-of-way.

The Division's mission is to provide safe and efficient movement of vehicles and pedestrians, deliver capital improvement projects on time and within budget, offer guidance, cooperation, management and leadership, support all departments and deliver all assigned tasks for the betterment of the City of Republic .
