The
Street Superintendent plans, supervises, directs, and coordinates the
reconstruction, maintenance, and repair of streets and alleys.

Nick Ashbach began his employment with the City of Republic as Street Superintendent in September of 2006. He has been involved in street and road construction for over twenty years, having started as a laborer and working his way to owning his own construction company. Mr. Ashbach's extensive experience in all phases of street construction and maintenance will be very beneficial to the City of Republic.
Nick and his wife Pam moved from Wisconsin to Missouri in 1997.
