Water Division

 

The City of Republic produces an average of 1.2 million gallons of clean, fresh, high quality water daily with maximum daily production reaching 2.0 million gallons. The Water Division is responsible for constant monitoring, ensures the quality of water and maintains approximately 88 miles of water pipes and 3,500 service connections.

Approximately 8,500 citizens are served by the City's deep ground water wells. This Division's responsibilities in overseeing the water supply include treatment, transmission and distribution, system maintenance, daily chlorine and fluoride testing, and planning.

The Water Division mission is to provide a safe and adequate water supply for the citizens of Republic by ensuring the integrity and reliability of the water system.
