Mr.
Smith began his duties with the City of Republic in December of 1977.
He has served in the capacities of Public Works Director, Water Superintendent,
Street and Water Department Worker, and Animal Control Officer. During
his tenure with the City, Mr. Smith has served under ten different Public
Works Directors, as well as, serving as Public Works Director for ten
years. He currently serves as the Water Superintendent and has held this
position for approximately five years.
Mr.
Smith served as a member of the Planning & Zoning Board for ten years
before resigning his position as a board member. He enjoys spending time
with his family and fishing whenever he finds the time.
