Court DatesCourt is held every Wednesday and the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month, excluding holiday closings. There are 4 docket types they are: Arraignment, Attorney Day, Review, & Trial. ArraignmentThe Arraignment Dockets are held on the 2nd, 3rd, & 4th Wednesday & the 4th Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. At the Arraignment, the defendant will be informed of the charges against them, and will be expected to enter plea of guilty or not guilty.Attorney DayThe Attorney day docket is held the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 9:30 a.m. This docket is specifically for attorneys who have business before the municipal court. This will be the only docket that attorneys will be scheduled for, unless it is a trial setting.ReviewThe Review docket is held the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 2:30 p.m. This docket is for cases that have already had an arraignment, are not scheduled for trial and additional information is needed. Examples would be a review to see if conditions of probation have been met, or to see if fines and costs have been paid. This would also be the docket for cases the Judge sets for the defendant to bring additional information. An example would be to provide proof of insurance Trial
The Trial dockets are held the 1st Wednesday of the month at 2:30 p.m. This docket is for defendants that have previously entered a not guilty plea. The trial is the time when the prosecution presents evidence of the charges against the defendant. The defendant has the right to subpoena witnesses relevant to the case. The defendant has the right to ask questions of the officer who issued the citation or those who filed a complaint. Conferences with the Prosecutor
