The Republic Parks & Recreation Department is proud to announce a new program focused on the visual arts. Each month the program will offer courses focused on various art mediums. Courses will be taught by Catherine Russell, who currently teaches PK-3 grade art in Clever. All classes will be held on Wednesday evenings beginning with the first Wednesday of every month (see dates below). Pre-registration is required and may be done at the Republic Community Center. The Republic Parks & Recreation Department will offer a free story time from 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at the Republic Community Center the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month (see dates below) excluding June, July, August. This is a free program for toddler's age 0-5. No registration is necessary; parent/guardian is required to stay.

The Republic Parks & Recreation Department offers several Tumbling Toddler classes for ages 2 and 3. Basic tumbling, movement, balance and flexibility will be covered in each session. Music and props will be incorporated into the class. One parent will be required to participate in the class with their toddler. There will be a maximum of 8 toddlers per class. All classes will be held on Thursday evenings from 5:30 - 6:15PM at the Republic Community Center.

 Come celebrate your birthday with Republic Parks and Recreation and Tony the Tiger, our large inflatable bouncer! The standard birthday party package includes a two hour rental (gymnasium and party room), the inflatable bouncer, other activities, service ware, tablecloths, and balloons. All parties are set up for 12 – 18 guests (additional guests may be added on for $1.50 per person). All parties must be paid for at the time that they are reserved.

Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program
The Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program is designed for individuals with arthritis, rheumatic diseases, or related musculoskeletal conditions who are limited by impaired joint motion and/or strength and who are currently sedentary. All ages are welcome to attend. Class sessions are free and will run for eight weeks.

Senior Citizen Trips
The Republic Parks and Recreation Department offers many senior citizen trips every year. Trip details will be advertised approximately one month prior to the trip. Registration is open to all senior citizens; trip costs will vary depending on the destination.

Senior Movies
Senior movies are held at the Republic Community Center on the last Thursday of every month at 2:00PM (see dates below), excluding the summer months (May, June, July, and August). The movies are free and no registration is necessary. Free coffee and popcorn are also provided.
