The Criminal Investigations Division is supervised by a Detective Sergeant who coordinates investigations by the general crimes and drug investigators. The Detectives and Evidence Technician are trained in crime scene processing, evidence and property handling.

The Division case clearance has been above the national average with numerous cases ranging from misdemeanor stealing to the discovery and prosecution of a regional auto theft ring.

The Division has an up-to-date evidence processing facility as well as garage bays allowing the inspection of vehicles for evidence and hidden vehicle identification numbers.

The Division has taken a professional approach to training in an effort to specialize in the latest criminal investigative techniques.
