The City of Republic's vision is to plan for the city's future growth with a long-term and generational mindset, setting the foundation for a strong and productive community.  The purpose and mission of the city's government officials is to lay the groundwork for this desirable growth by strengthening and supporting the great institutions that cultivate a community capable of sustaining itself through any circumstance or challenge.

Since the consolidation of the former Village of Brookline in 2005, the city has been working diligently to cultivate and nurture this land as a principal location for commercial and industrial growth in coming years.  Already primed for industrial growth with a unique congregation of transportation access, including rail, air, and interstate highway, the city has supplemented this with a $12 million investment in infrastructure.  Partnering with State and County officials to continue these upgrades, Republic believes strongly that this will be the anchor of productivity that enables community development over the long-run. To compliment the newly consolidated area of the city, Republic also encompasses a long stretch of US Highway 60 that promises many retail prospects for residents. 

The City of Republic has patiently and purposefully sewn the seeds of productivity and economic growth and stability for the future and plans to harvest an abundance for many seasons.  A bright future lies in wait for the City of Republic, not only for our present generation but many generations to come.
