Easter Egg Hunt

The Republic Parks
and Recreation Department, thanks to sponsorship and production assistance from Destiny Church, has announced plans for a larger and more eventful annual Easter Egg Hunt. The event will be held on Saturday, April 12 from 10:00 a.m. – Noon at J.R. Martin Park (300 E. Hines) and feature 25,000+ hidden eggs, a helicopter, the Easter Bunny arriving via fire truck, numerous inflatables and more.

The Great Egg Drop is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. as thousands of eggs will be dropped from a helicopter over the park!  The official egg hunts will begin at 10:30 a.m. with the 0-6 year olds and 10:45 a.m. with the 7-12 year olds.  Inflatables will be available for the duration of the event and the Easter Bunny will arrive shortly after the egg hunts via fire truck for photos! This is a FREE event and no registration is necessary.

Parking will be available at the tennis court complex, Price Elementary, Republic Middle School and Garoutte Field.  Please bring your own Easter basket and arrive early (the hunts will begin promptly at 10:30 and 10:45 a.m.).
