Scott Lowry


Scott Lowry was elected to the Republic City Council in April 2008.

 

Scott was raised in Mountain Home, AR and graduated there in 1996. He joined the Army National Guard in 1994 and has been an active member since. In 2003 Scott was called up for active duty in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, he served this tour of duty for 9 months being station in Fort Sill, Ok. Upon the conclusion of his deployment he moved to the Springfield area eventually settling in Branson.

 

Scott and his wife Lacy were married in January of 2005 and later that month he was called up yet again for active duty with the Missouri National Guard in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and for 12 months he served at various locations in Iraq and Kuwait. While deployed he and Lacy sold their home in Branson and moved to Republic in September of 2005 and Scott returned home from Iraq in February of 2006. Scott is currently a Sergeant with the 935th Aviation Support Battalion in Aurora, MO.

Scott is employed with Jack Henry & Associates as an Application Analyst in the Springfield office. He travels across the country performing software installs for financial institutions. He holds an Associate's Degree in Information Technology and is working towards his Master's Degree in the same field.

Scott and his wife Lacy have four children, sons Nathan, Wesley, and Dallas and daughter Gracelyn.

 

Scott has led a life of public and community service through various means for a number of years and hopes to serve the citizens of Republic the best he can. He is always willing to speak to anyone about their concerns and is devoted to helping in any way possible.
