REPUBLIC, MO – The Republic Parks and Recreation Department is currently accepting registrations for several upcoming sessions of the Community Art Program! This art program focuses on various art mediums each month; sessions for the remainder of 2010 are available in September, October, and November. Courses will be taught by Catherine Russell; who currently teaches Pre K-3rd grade art in Clever.
Two sessions of the class will be offered each month focusing on a different art medium every month. Children ages 4-8 will meet every Wednesday from 5:15-6:15 p.m. and children ages 9-15 will meet every Wednesday from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Upcoming sessions are as follows:

September
Medium: Clay
Class meets September 8, 15, 22, and 29

October
Medium: 2D Arts
Class meets on October 6, 13, 20, and 27

November
Medium: 3D Arts
Class meets on November 3, 10, 17, and December 1 (NO class on November 24)

Each session consists of four classes; the cost is $25.00 per one month session (four classes). A multiple sibling discount is available for this program; sign two children up and receive $5.00 off of your total; sign three or more children up and receive $10.00 off of your total.
