REPUBLIC, MO – Due to excessive heat and at the request of several citizens, the Republic Aquatic Center has extended the Morning Lap Swim Time program for adults through September 2, 2010. The open swim time program was originally set to end on Tuesday, August 17th. Morning Lap Swim Time is offered Monday-Thursday at the Republic Aquatic Center from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. and is designed for adults to have the lap swim area of the pool to themselves for recreational or exercising purposes.
