REPUBLIC, MO – The construction of a natural gas pipeline requires the temporary closure of Farm Road 160 during daylight working hours on Monday, August 16th and Tuesday, August 17th. The roadway will be open with lane restrictions during Monday evening and early Tuesday morning. Street crews will also use the closure period to make permanent asphalt repairs at several surface failure locations on Farm Road 160. Access to adjacent properties will be maintained; however, local drivers will need to approach their destination from the appropriate side of the gas line crossing, which is located approximately ¼ mile west of State Highway MM. Through traffic is advised to use alternate routes. Questions or comments regarding the street closure may be directed to David Brock, Public Works Director at (417) 732- 3400.
