The Annual May Day 5K & Fun Run/Walk, hosted by Republic Parks and Recreation and CoxHealth Fitness Centers, is held on the first Saturday in May annually.

All registered 5K participants will receive an official May Day 5K T-Shirt; all Fun Run/Walk participants will receive a ribbon upon completion of the 1 Mile run/walk. The top three males and females in each age category receive prizes along with the top overall male and top overall female.

Race packets for pre-registered participants may be picked up beginning at 12:00PM on Friday, May 4th, 2012 at the Republic Community Center. Race packets may also be picked up the day of the race between 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 a.m.

Awards

Age Groups & Divisions

9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & Up (Male & Female Divisions)

The top three males and females in each age division will receive prizes (choose from: five one-day passes to the Republic Aquatic Center, a 30 minute massage from CoxHealth Fitness Centers or a one month membership to CoxHealth Fitness Centers).

The top overall male and female racer will receive a $100.00 cash prize and a commemorative plaque.
