All plans for commercial signage must be reviewed by City staff and placement permitted. Please review the City's
Sign Regulations prior to beginning your signage project. Staff is available to answer specific questions in person or by phone (contact information below).
All applicants must complete and submit a
Sign Permit Application. All applicants must submit to-scale drawings of the proposed signage, including some sample images of the signage.
Applications for detached signs must also include the following:
- Survey depicting the site showing the proposed location of the sign.
- All necessary calculations for the sign bearing the stamp and seal of a Missouri Licensed Engineer.
The cost of a sign permit is $100 and is collected by the BUILDS Department at the time of permit issuance.
