The Republic Veterans Memorial, located within J.R. Martin Park (300 E. Hines) in Republic, was officially opened to the public and dedicated in July 2014. The memorial features various monuments and statues including a large bronze eagle and Battle Cross with informational pieces to learn more about the history and significance of each statue. An American Flag Drop Box and ceremonial Flag Retirement Pit were recently added by two local Eagle Scouts. Over 430 memorial bricks line the walkways of the memorial, recognizing those who have served or continue to serve our country.
