Why is it important to have my address on the front of my house?
Your address number should be posted at your driveway, visible from both directions if possible. Your address number should also be clearly posted on your home so it can be seen at night. Remember in an emergency there is no time to waste. Make sure you can be located quickly and easily. There is also a city ordinance requiring the posting of house numbers on the front of your residence.

For more information on addressing, contact the Community Development Department at 417-732-3100.
