I was born in Joplin, MO, and grew up in Carthage, MO. In 2005, I moved to the Republic/Springfield area, finally settling in Republic in 2012. In 2005, I went to work for Double S Transport in Springfield, sweeping floors. I'm still there today, working as the operations manager. Additionally, I am a graduate of OTC and Drury University.
Community involvement is very important to me. I'm active with local volunteer groups, including Rooting Republic and Republic, MO Little Free Libraries, and Blessing Boxes. I also enjoy volunteering at Have-A-Blast. In 2023, I graduated from the MU Extension program, the Neighborhood Leadership Academy, and received the University of Missouri-St Louis Chancellor's Certificate in Neighborhood Leadership.
In addition to volunteering, I enjoy walking/running, working out, reading, and playing golf. Being active is very important to me. In June 2024, I completed the 2,500-mile requirement for the Republic Parks & Recreation Walking Club's “Walking Club Hall of Fame” plaque.
I'm grateful for the opportunity to serve the people of Ward 1 and Republic in this role as a city council member.
